Posesorul nu stie nici germana, nici româna si încerc sa-l ajut un pic. Are cu magul o serie de probleme. nu-i merge motorul stîng si motorul cabestan uruie de mama focului.

Yesterday I was chating with some of you in Yahoo! about my unique soviet recorder.

It was a gift from a friend who bought it in the begining of the 80s in Moscow when he was studying.

When I got it, more or less it worked, and I said more or less because all bulit-in amplifier didn't worked (but worked the preamp section so I was able to connect it to an external amp) and the left spindle had broken and the previous owner had glued it. unfortunatelly was also glued the rotation of the axis so you couldn't blobk the reel into the reel table.

Anyway, more or less it worked, but a day I switched it on and the motor did a constant rare buzz, like if you started an old car ("tronch, tronch, tronch"). The meters were dimmered and light all scale. Transport functions didn't work propertly and all was a dissaster. I switched it off and on again and finally it worked fine, like always, until one day that it didn't switched on normally, always started with the problem.

That was the last time it switched on fine. After that pic I never could started without problems, so the deck is stored at home and the WAT says it must go if it doesn't work.

Which class of open reel deck is?. It's a 4 track 2 channel stereo with two speeds, 19 cm/s and 9.5 cm/s (curiosly it says "9 cms/s" in the lettering).
It has built-in amp section so that you can plug speakers to it, but it doesn't work. As this section is in bad state, the record section don't work good to, I used it only for play tapes. The max size of reels is 22 cms.

It has a very fast FF and RWD, much more than a 10.5" open reel deck.

I'd like to fix it, but there is a good thing and a bad one. First the bad:

-I don't have electronics knowledgement.

And the good one:

-I've the original service diagrams as you could see in the pics.

I tried to look for a local tech here to repair the deck and none want even to try to fix it, all is in russian and open reel recorders are taboo for most techs nowadays.

Pare o corcitura intre Rostov si Kashtan 1(vu-metrul Vfd) + contorul electronic.Probabil ca este un magnetofon facut numai pt. piata interna,pacat ca un destept a lipit tamburul din stanga blocand astfel sistemul de prindere al benzii.
Pe langa asta magnetofonul are etajul final ars si probleme pe partea de alimentare pt. ca propietarul declara ca a functionat intermitent pana cand a ramas in starea din fotografii adica cu vu-metrul aprins si fara sunet.Posibil ca una sau mai multe din barele de alimentare sa fi cedat lasand modulele alimentate incorect.
Din poze se vede ca inca mai are minunatii condensatori electrolitici rusesti care pot fi una din cauzele care l-au adus in starea asta.
Oricum e destul de dificil sa-l repare prin corespondenta mai ales ca propietarul nu are cunostintele minime necesare.

What I could see in the photos is a kind of Rostov reel to reel taperecorder with nothing in common with Kashtan. Probably the diagram diferences are minimal. A service manual, even in Russian will be very helpful to solve some problems. Power amplifier could be replaced with an integrated circuit module x 2, having an apropriate voltage to the value of the original power amplifier. It is not so difficult to solve the problems. Most of the spare parts, including the motors seem to be the same as in Rostov taperecorder. Most diferences: other look!

pai ar fi pacat sa nu-l faca,mai ales ca e model rar....

Inauntru este identic cu orice magnetofon ROSTOV! Singurele deosebiri fatza de Rostov 105 sunt:
- alta dispunere a potentiometrilor pe panou (chestie de design)
- rola presoare ca la Soyuz (care tot un Rostov este insa fara rezistente MLT ci cu dealea verzi; asta macar are MLT'uri ca orice Rostov)
- releele de la mecanica sunt ecranate fiecare cu cate o tabla ceea ce ma face sa deduc faptul ca panoul frontal e din plastic.
- VUmetrele si counterul sunt preluate de la casetofonul Electronica 203C facut numai pentru piata interna sovietica.
NU are nici o legatura cu Kashtan'ul.

Manualul service este de ajutor insa omul trebuie sa stie ceva electronica; daca habar nu are dar stie macar sa lipeasca piese si care e minul-plus la condensatorii electrolitici?, sa-i schimbe pe toti...insa ATENTIE! pe cablaje de multe ori semnul plus este pus gresit asa ca trebuie notat unde se afla cu adevarat plusul dupa condensator...o treaba dificila deoarece pe jegurile ela nu se vede foarte bine semnul. Tot schema e de ajutor!
Motor trebuie desfacut si vazut de ce face zgomot?; posibil o treaba simpla; din poza se vede totusi uzura destul de mare la axul capstan; aceste axe sovietice sunt foarte dure si rezistente, trebuiesc omorate la greu ca sa se vada urme.
Nu cred ca poate fi ajutat decat de un conational de-al lui electronist depanator. Schemele sovietice sunt complete, oricine care stie meserie il poate depana.

In caz ca nu-i reuseste depanarea mie imi trebuie transformatorul ala! Din ce tara e omul?

Sunt din Constanta.L-am primit cadou de la varul meu ca nu il mai folosea.Am nevoie de schema tehnica.Nu ii mai merge contoarul cu cifre.In rest l-am mai reparat si merge perfect.Cine ma ajuta cu Contoarul digital si cu schema electrica ?
